The New Orangatang Moronga Longboard Wheel!

Guys and girls we are proud to present you with Orangatang’s newest wheel… The Orantatang Moronga! It is a center set freeriding dream-wheel! It has a 35mm contact patch and sits at 72.5mm tall. Like all of Orangatang’s other freeride inspired wheels, the Moronga comes with a stone-ground contact patch and beveled edges so right out of the package they are ready to shred! Their thin profile makes them very easy to kick out into slides. Usually this quality leads to unpredictable wheels that tend to slip out a little too easy but with the Moronga’s center set hub and Orangatang’s patented Euphorethane urethane compound these wheels are surprisingly delightful when getting sideways. Not to mention, since they are center set, you can flip them over as they start to cone, doubling the life of your wheels! We got to check them out quite a while ago, in their prototype phases and were instantly in love. One of the things that we enjoy the most in regards to the Orangatang Moronga is how light they are. They are really fun on boards like the Tan Tien and Kanthaka. Basically anything with a kicktail, where you can do freestyle tricks, will pair up great with these bad boys. Its never fun to have a heavy wheel weighing your board down! AND once these guys wear down you can throw them on your mini-cruisers and they are extremely fun! All around we are pretty much in love with these wonderful lumps of urethane and joy. Freeriders rejoice! Your wheel hath cometh!
