Afterwork Box Sesh

Ever wonder what it is like to work at Daddies Board Shop? Well, there is more behind the scenes action than anything else but occasionally we get to have ourselves a little fun. One way we do that is by heading out to our parking lot. Pretty much every day after work we all go out and skate. We have boxes, banks, and a bunch of great curbs for slappies. We pretty much build all of our stuff from shipping crates and whatnot that we get from all of our manufacturers. When I say we I mean our warehouse manager Tony B builds it, the dude is crazy. It is pretty cool actually... he takes shipping palettes and turns them into skate features. Kind of baffling really. So working at Daddies does end up being pretty rad. We can't exactly leave during the day to go hit up hills so we have to make due with what we got around us and I think we do that pretty well. The word "unfortunately" doesn't really apply when we say we can't go out and skate hills. Because fortunately we are getting to stoke out kids across the globe by making sure they all their their gear they ordered. It's rough stuff but it is a labor of love!
